SDG 13 – Climate Action

Our mitigation Strategies support SDG 13: Climate Action because they help communities prepare for and reduce the impact of floods which in recent times are becoming more and more common in some areas due to climate change.

● Clean-up drives keep canals and esteros clear, preventing clogging and reducing flood risks.

● Awareness campaigns educate people, especially the youth, so they know how to stay safe and prepared.

● Flood markers and signs help warn communities about danger zones, giving them time to act early.

● Go Bag campaigns teach families how to be ready in case of emergencies, promoting safety and survival.

● Recognition programs encourage households to stay prepared in a fun and motivating way.

Together with these actions and determination from the people will lead to a more informed, alert, and a prepared climate resilient community for barangay 183.
