The movie Fight Club is based of a novel that was made in 1996 by Chuck Palahniuk. The movie was released in 1999 and had a budget of over 60 million. This movie has a run time of 139 minutes, and has made over 100 million in the box office. One of the main reasons why the this movie flopped was because of the excessive violence and it's not a movie, that most people would enjoy.
The plot of Fight Club is that the unnamed narrator is suffering from sever insomnia and as it gets worse and worse he joins a cancer support group which helped him with his insomnia and enabled him to enjoy life a little more. Then a women came in and he knew she didn't have cancer and was just there from a reason, and that ruined his insomnia and made it worse up to the point where he made an imaginary person "Tyler Durden", but of course the narrator never knew this and whatever "Tyler" did he did because he was more or less his role model. "Tyler" made the narrator do all types of things like start a fight club, and whenever it was "Tyler" speaking it was really the narrator but in a way he could do it. The point of "Tyler" was just another version of the narrator which helped him accomplished what he wanted to do. Then after "Tyler" made fight clubs all other the state and the narrator didnt want this even though it was him that did all of this. The narrator then made Project Mayhem which mains intention was to stop the office buildings, because this is what the narrator went through.
