Congratulations Smith Clovers!
We have done it. Together we worked hard and persevered through an amazing year. I am so proud of all of you. But the year isn't over and we have a few more weeks to enjoy. We are excited and looking forward to our Field Day, end of year parties and First Grade Festival. I hope you take a moment to reflect on some of the highlights from our year together. I wish all of you a wonderful summer. Take walks, read books, go on an adventure, even if it is in your imagination. You are each incredible and I can't wait to see your amazing accomplishments as you continue to grow. Be proud of yourself!

Look at how fun learning can be at Smith Clove!
Digital Citizenship Resources
We do an Internet safety lesson for both Kindergarten and 1st grade in our Computer Classroom.
In Kindergarten we focus on Media Balance. We read the story Tek the Modern Cave Boy and have a slideshow with a song and how they can balance their media time.
In first grade we use the Internet Safety Traffic light to teach them about safe apps, not sure apps and red websites. We read the story Clicker Downloads An App.

What a great year it has been!
We had 176 incredible members, over 700 items donated to classrooms and 290 yearbooks gifted to first graders. Not to mention the Nutrition Mission assembly, Book Fair, Holiday Boutique and Family Fun Movie Night!
We thank all of our members and supporters for your extreme generosity throughout the year - we couldn't do it without you!
