Vedette is MVHS's literary arts magazine, first formed in 1960. We publish student writing and art annually in the spring. Many of our past issues are available for purchase.

What does "vedette" mean?
This is best explained by the forward of the original issue of Vedette:
FORWARD
In an attempt to provide a wider opportunity for students to express themselves creatively and be heard, VEDETTE has come into being.
VEDETTE is a scout, in one sense, ever on the lookout for original, accurate, and interesting literary material. It is to be hoped that much enjoyment may be derived from the following pages which the editors feel show a variety of talent.
