Teaching Philosophy . . .

I believe each of our students has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world.  Teaching is a vital and honorable profession that demands dedication and commitment.  I have the opportunity to impact students' lives in a positive way. I do not take this privilege lightly.

As a dedicated teacher, I will endeavor to uphold the following:

• Ensure that all learning needs are met through personalized learning.

• Create a welcoming classroom that is positive and fair, allowing all students to learn from one another and feel safe and comfortable to share their thoughts and ideas.

• Ensure deep learning is imparted rather than rote learning and my students are supported in order to make connections to understand relationships.

• Foster independent learning 

• Hold myself accountable to high standards and performance and continually seek improvement in present and future teaching.

In our class, real world problems are solved and each student believes that they can make a difference in this world.
