My name is Melissa Schmitz, and I am a proud Milpitas native! Having gone through the Milpitas Unified School District as a student (Weller, Russell, Milpitas High), I am extremely excited to have been able to return to Milpitas as an educator.  

This is my ninth year at Rose and my eleventh year teaching! Before Rose, I worked in the Mission District of San Francisco teaching 2nd grade. 

I am looking forward to continuing to serve our students and to foster their love of learning!
