Hello Curtner students, families and staff!

We are excited for this year's virtual Eagle Rush Run! Even though this year is different and we won't get to see you and cheer you on while you're completing your laps in person, we (Curtner PTA) are still confident that your participation will keep the Curtner Eagles spirit going! Go Eagles!

What is Eagle Rush Run?

Formerly known as "STALLION STAMPEDE" Is a modern twist to the traditional jog-a-thon. This is also the only fundraiser that Curtner PTA hosts. Historically and on the day of the event, each class is given roughly 20 minutes to “trot” as many laps around the Curtner grass field as possible. But this year everything is different and we are trying to think creatively to make this happen.

This year we will extend Eagle rush to one week for families to run, walk, jog, hike at their own pace. The week of Feb 1st - Feb 7th will be the Quarant Eagle Rush week. Families to use honor system to track steps and report. There will be fun prizes for class participation, maximum $ raised, and many more. Stay tuned as we iron those details.

To keep the tradition of Eagle Rush T-shirts, Curtner PTA will provide each student that sign up with the specially designed shirts. The shirt will feature the winning art for Eagle Rush.

Why are we doing the Eagle Rush Run?

To build community, make fitness fun for famillies and raise funds to sustain PTA activities

In response to a previous survey the PTA sent to parents in the previous years, the PTA will focus on community-building fundraising efforts moving forward. This year’s Eagle Rush is our 8th annual event and will be our primary fundraiser - with hopes to eliminate the other fundraisers, such as cookie dough/catalogue sales altogether. It is also our intent that a community day event such as our Eagle Rush will create an opportunity to foster and strengthen relationships among our students, parents, faculty, staff, and volunteers all virtually, while raising the funds we need to operate our ever-growing school and programs.
