Back in the 2018 Russia world cup, France was the champion. They have a twenty-five percent chance of winning the 2022 world cup, making them have the third-highest chance of winning this year. The second highest probability of winning and Brazil will most likely win. This is what google said. While performance wise prior to the world cup this could have been the case but with the first games of each group now played, the predictions have changed by a large amount. Argentina was also thought that they would reach the finals, as predicted by a robot that has been correct for the last three world cups. With Argentina losing to Saudi Arabia after winning every game after the world cup back in 2018, even though being generally the better team, and Germany also losing to Japan even though being the better team in every aspect, the predictions have changed quite a lot. The game with England and Iran was already expected for England to win, but with a smaller margin, and was expected to be a tighter game than it was. Belgium won against Canada, which was already expected, but the expectation was that Belgium would have dominated the entire game, which was not the case.
