Elon Musk started launching Starlink rockets into space in late 2019, and since then only more have been getting launched. Many saw that it's good for some that need wifi more than others and it's healing global wifi shortages.
On a clear night, you can look up into the night sky and see space and all its beauty. As you look farther, you can see a string of something that looks like multiple stars in a perfectly straight line, moving right. What you have witnessed is Elon Musk’s mission to bring wifi to everyone across the world. Starlink has helped many people get back on their feet- for example, while Ukraine was in the depths of its war against Russia, StarLink helped some who needed cellular data the most.
Even though it has many benefits, it still has its downsides. First of all, the range of the rockets that are orbiting the sky creates a bigger barrier to from NASA seeing asteroids. NASA said that the StarLink asteroids could block them from seeing satellites and asteroids, putting the safety of earth at risk. Also, it needs 45-75 watts of electricity to work which is quite a lot of electricity.
Overall, the wifi satellite is very interesting and helps many people around the world.
