The 3rd elevator. Previous readers of The Students' Choice may remember hearing rumors about this mysterious room many months ago, but we have decided to look into it again. We have gathered more evidence, and are now 100% confident that this theory is indeed true.
Many skeptics might say that there is no evidence, or that the existing evidence is false. The first group of skeptics, has already been disproved, as for the second group, they are what this article is about.
This picture may not seem to reveal much, but there are tons of hidden elements that give away more than you would think. The first clue is the automatically closing door. If you look at the top of the door, there is a mechanism used for automatically closing it. This mechanism is found in many other doors, though it is strange it is found on this one. If it is indeed a fire closet, wouldn’t it be important for the door to be able to be left open? What if there was an emergency, and multiple people who needed to use it were on different sides of the school? They would all have to take precious time to open it, as opposed to it being left open, so they could all run through it quickly, potentially saving lives. This mechanism, however, would be very useful for an elevator which was meant to be kept a secret, making the door close behind all of the teachers, and not allowing students to follow them. It also minimizes the time period in which students could see the inside of the room.
The next clue is the shape of the room. It looks like a hallway, with no equipment being visible for as much as in frame. In a fire closet, wouldn’t it be ideal to have as much equipment as possible in as small an area as possible, to minimize the cost of building it? The hallway is however ideal for shielding the sound of an elevator, and in the event that a student is walking past in the short window that the door is open, they will not immediately see it, as there are many other possibilities for objects out of frame that could draw the eye, such as the small piece of metal that is visible a bit down from the top right corner, which looks like it could be part of a display which would draw the eye of a student. Another clue is the text on the paper on the wall. Due to Google's compression, it is not very clear, but if you email me (revenazs@mulgrave.com), I will be able to provide you with the original uncompressed image. The text says “equipment reserved for provincial exams”, and then cuts off. It is difficult to think of anything that could follow this text, and I will try not to speculate, but it seems strange that that would be written in a fire closet, whereas if it is indeed the third elevator, it could hint that certain grades also get access to it.
If this didn’t convince you that the third elevator is real, than that’s okay, but know that if you want, you can try to gather evidence yourself, and indeed further prove that the third elevator is real, and if you do do that, feel free to reach out to me at revenazs@mulgrave.com, and send me the evidence you have gathered, or if you want to investigate further, you can email me and I would be happy to help.
