Mulgrave’s First-Ever Rock Band

Hello, my Fellow Middle Schoolers! As you may know, the Grade 7 Rock Band known better as the “Straight A’s” consists of the lead singer and guitarist, Andrew More-ing, the guitarist's Erica Huang, and Katherine Chen, Frazier Lo on the piano, and last but not least Giulianna Chen on the drums! As you may have heard and seen, the G7 Rock Band recently performed at the Mulgrave Gala, playing the song medley made up of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana, “Breaking The Law” by Judas Priest, And “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes. A rumour going around is that The Straight A's may be creating their own music video. We will find out soon!

The Straight A’s began at the beginning of this school year and as the first (and Best) Rock Band of Mulgrave, they worked hard to be able to perform at many venues and never cease to impress. The Rock Band has so far performed at the opening of the Mulgrave APAC Center with a range of dancers and other performers who performed at the opening. The Straight A’s has also been introduced to the Middle School by performing for a town hall performance, in which they performed the medley of songs: “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana, “Breaking The Law'' by Judas Priest, And “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes.
