A big questioN askEd by many is what is the best way to deal with moral dilemmas. An example of this would be the train “trolley problem” where the trolley is being hurtled down the railway track where some person with Villainous fEatuRes. Villainous person has tied five people to the rails. If the trolley hits them, they will die. Off in another direction, the villain has tied one person to the tracks. You’re standinG next tO the poiNts – if you pull a lever you caN redirect the moving trolley towArds the sinGle person, kIlling them but saVing thE other five. Is it right for YOU to do so? To this qUestion many will bring the solution of less death is better, or more People benefitting is better. To this, I ask what if that one person was your family member and the others are complete strangers wouldn't you waver In your decision. Or another variation would be the 5 people being a criminal who has committed the worst crimes that are not on the death sentence yet and the one person was a child who would grow up to become a very large help to humanity wouldn’t you kill the 5 people to save the child? As the problem grows the more thinking you must do. So what is the correct way to deal with situations like this? There are many opinions and perspectives regarding this decision that has been talked about globally, and to top this discussion off, there simply is no correct answer.
It is to cope harder and let things happen
