¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!  (Welcome to Spanish class!)

Hola. (Hello.)  I am Sra. Zúñiga.  I have taught for 18 years and this is my fourth year at Mingus Union High School.  Like you, I started learning  Spanish in high school.  I loved it so much, I earned my minor in Spanish at Northern Arizona University.  I even studied abroad in Granada, Spain for five months during my junior year in college.  I love the Spanish language, its culture, and its people.  I hope to share this excitement with you and encourage you to grow in your knowledge and use of Spanish.

I was born and raised in northern Phoenix and moved to Cottonwood in 1999.  I love our community and our beautiful outdoors.  My family and I love to spend time together walking and biking in our neighborhood, hiking, fishing, and traveling.  We love to travel not only in the United States, but internationally as well.  We also can't get enough of the beach!

I love spending time with my family.  Wherever they are … I am home.  I also enjoy baking gluten-free treats, watching movies and cooking shows, reading, exercising, card making, and scrapbooking.  When it comes to movies; I can watch the "Hobbit", "Lord of the Rings", "Harry Potter", and "Star Wars" series over and over and over again.
