First Semester Welding 4 students will learn to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process. Students will perfume fillet and groove welds in all positions with the GTAW process. 1st Semester is dual enrolled with Yavapai College course WLD 200 Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.

Second semester will be a project based fabrication class. Students will learn the basics of fabrication and design and will produce two to three welded projects from blue prints. Welding 4 students will then be tasked with the planning, design and fabrication of their own project. The 2nd semester class is dual enrolled with Yavapai College course WLD 250 Welding Fabrication
