Basic Information
Week 1: July 8-12
Week 2: July 15-19
Week 3: July 22-26
Week 4: July 29 - Aug 2
8:00 to 3:00 Mon - Fri
Arrival: Upon arrival each day, all students should go to the cafeteria for breakfast. Even if the student does not intend to eat breakfast, it is important to wait in the cafeteria until dismissed. If a student arrives late, they should check in at the Elementary Office.
Breakfast: Breakfast will run from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM each morning.
Lunch: Lunch for the K-5 will happen between 11:45 and 12:15, while the older students will eat from 12:20 to 12:55.
Dismissal: There will be a 1:00 PM bus and a 3:00 PM bus each day for dismissal.
Early pick-up: All parents/guardians must stop at the Elementary office to sign out students. Please bring identification.
Administration, security, and counselors will be on campus each day.
No before or after care programming is provided at MTS.
Each afternoon will feature sports, games, and more!
Kindergarten Jumpstart
All incoming Kindergarten students will get a "jump start" on the coming year by participating in this program. Not only will there be singing, games, and fun, but there will also be academic preparedness. Our youngest learners will have time to practice being in a classroom, walking in a hallway, and more!
5th/6th Transition
Congrats to our 5th Graders who have completed their elementary programming and are moving into Middle School! These students will work on academic acceleration as well as what it means to be a contributing member of the Muckleshoot Middle School.
Credit Recovery
High School students who are in need of credits have the opportunity to work with dedicated teachers this summer in order to either catch up or move ahead.
Not all choices are available each day of the week. There will be no field trips during Summer Learning Academy weeks. All activities will take place on campus.
Dress for the Weather
We plan to be outside and having fun during the day. Please be sure your child is dressed for the weather.
Dress for the Activity
If your child is participating in basketball, soccer, or other sports, be sure they wear clothing that allows them to have fun and remain safe.
