High School Trips

Ski or board at Blue Mountain Ski Resort during FIVE "end of the week" night trips for 2024
The trip dates (sold as a package) are:

(Make-up date is Friday, March 1, 2024.)
We leave right after school, ski/board from about 5pm until 9:45pm, and arrive back at the school around 11:45pm.
Cost for all 5 trips:
Transportation: $210 (payable to MT Recreation and Park Planning)
Ski Pass: $229, which includes a $25 digital gift card to use at the resort (payable to Blue Mountain– instructions will be emailed from MT Recreation and Park Planning once your transportation is confirmed)
Skiers/boarders must bring their own money (or use the virtual gift card given by Blue Mountain with the lift ticket) to buy dinner at the mountain, or may pack a dinner.
To sign-up, please complete the two-step process:
STEP 1: Complete the Blue Mountain Registration Packet and submit Payment to MT Recreation and Park Planning with payment for transportation. Registration is due no later than October 26, 2023.
STEP 2: After your transportation is confirmed, you will receive instructions on how to sign up for your Blue Mountain Student Ski Pass from MT Recreation and Park Planning. You are responsible for registering and paying for your Student Pass (and any additional lessons or equipment rentals) through Blue Mountain's online portal. We kindly ask that you purchase your Blue Mountain lift tickets only using this unique link, which gives you the discount and perks, connect's your lift ticket to our school so they can receive the ski pass with the group, and allows our club to staff the appropriate number of chaperones for each trip. This pass is good for the MT Ski scheduled trips as well as any other day you wish to go to the mountain, with some exceptions. Your pass is good all day Monday through Friday (non-holiday), and Sat/Sun & Holidays after 4pm all season at Blue Mountain.
You must purchase the student ski pass before the online portal closes on October 31, 2023.

Spend a weekend exploring the slopes of Gore Mountain in NY!
Ski or snowboard at Gore Mountain in New York from March 1-3, 2024! We have the opportunity to accompany Donegal High School Ski Club to explore a new mountain and a new state for our club.
The trip date is:
Leaving at 2:30pm from MTHS on Friday, March 1 and returning late at night on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
What is included in the New York Trip?
Two day lift ticket to Gore Mountain
Round trip motorcoach transportation
Two night accommodations at the Hampton Inn in Lake George, NY
Two breakfasts
One dinner
All applicable taxes and tips
To sign-up, please:
Complete the Gore Mountain Registration Packet and submit Payment to MT Recreation and Park Planning with payment. A minimum of 8 students is required for the trip. Registration is due no later than January 9, 2024.
Please note that we will be holding a Parent Meeting on February 20, 2024 to prepare for the trip. Please meet at the Stauffer Mansion at 7pm for this important meeting to discuss expectations, meet the advisors, and receive important trip details.

Canceling and rescheduling typically does NOT happen and we ski in a variety of weather. However, in unique situations we need to communicate changes to the schedule, which are posted here on our website and sent via text blast.
