Go to the CLASSES tab
Click ASSIGNMENTS
Click the 'exploring your programs' linkSelect your program/book
Find and select your topic(s)
Press ASSIGN when you are doneType in your Google Classroom name and select it

Students who join your Google Classroom later WILL NOT see Savvas assignments created PRIOR to them joining the class. Therefore you will need to reassign the assignment to those particular students.

Students open Google Classroom and click on your Savvas assignment
Using their Mt. Sinai Google login, students will be brought into the Savvas assignment.
They will submit the assignment directly within Savvas.
