Google Meet
Each Google Classroom has an option to add a Google Meet link.
The link acts as a dedicated meeting space for each class, making it easy for both you and your students to join.
Students will not be able to join the meeting before you start it.
Students will not be able to re-join the meet after it is over... just make sure that YOU are the last person to leave the meeting. You can remove the students, if necessary, from the 'People' tab.
👉 Why is my screen backwards?
When using Google Meet, your video looks backwards. Don't Worry!! The mirror image only shows on the meeting owners screen... your students will see the correct image.
👉 Share the Meeting Code with other classes:
This works well for 'remote' extra help sessions, etc.
You can copy the meeting code from one Google Classroom and share it with other Google Classrooms.

Improved teacher controls: Only the meeting creator can mute or remove guests. This ensures student participants can’t mute or remove one another or the teacher.
Approve requests to join: During a video meeting, only the meeting creator can see and approve requests to join the meeting from outside of the school’s G Suite domain.
Prevent meeting reuse: Students can’t rejoin the call if teachers leave a nicknamed meeting last.
