• Honors IPELS (Room E2313)

  • Honors IPELS challenges students to investigate natural phenomena, apply core science concepts, and solve problems through evidence-based reasoning. The course emphasizes engineering design, energy systems, climate science, and forces and interactions, while connecting scientific ideas to societal perspectives. Students will develop tools and ways of thinking that deepen their understanding of the world and prepare them for challenges beyond the classroom.

  • This course introduces students to experimental design, research, and analysis through the central theme of energy. Students will explore heat, motion, forces, and ecosystems within the context of environmental stewardship.
