5th Grade Activity Club

The Grade 5 Math Activity Club is held at LMS on select Tuesdays and Thursdays (last meeting of 2025: December 18th) where a group of around 15 students will work together to complete a fun and engaging math activity. In this club, students will collaborate with their peers and utilize specific concepts learned in their math classes. This club is meant to be a fun time to get together with peers and use math in the real world together!  Ask your 5th Grade Math teacher for the sign-up form due Sept. 26th.  Parents will receive an email on which group the student is in. First meeting is on Oct. 7th.  

Here are examples of possible activities:

• Various dice rolling games to practice and strengthen number sense!

• Design and create a restaurant where students get to control prices, practice operations with decimals, and run mock orders!
