Attention Seniors! If you applied to any colleges that require a Common Application Mid-Year Report, please know that counselors will automatically send your updated first trimester transcript to your schools. If you applied to colleges that do not require a Mid-Year Report but you would like your updated transcript sent, please email your counselor by December 12 to request this. Some colleges—such as UW–Madison—do not accept mid-year transcripts and instead require students to self-report mid-year grades in their applicant portal. Watch for emails from your colleges for instructions. Also, if you are applying to any colleges with January 1 deadlines, please submit your yellow transcript request form no later than December 12.
Senior Photos - Attention Seniors!! This is a reminder that your yearbook photo and the optional baby ad are due December 5th! Instructions to submit your photo can be found on the school website under "Information for Graduating Seniors"
DECA - DECA will be meeting today after school in Collaboration Zone East. Snacks will be provided. Also, with Districts approaching, we will be meeting weekly on Thursdays in December.
Ski and Snowboarding Club - Homestead ski and snowboarding club is having an informational meeting on Tuesday, December 9th right after school in room 906. Please reach out to Benjamin Feucht or Dmytro Tamarkin if you cannot attend.
Heart2Heart - Are you interested in finding a meaningful way to give back to those in the Mequon community? Heart2Heart, a club centered around volunteering in senior living homes, is having its first meeting on Monday, December 8th in Mrs Fraley's room right after school. We will be going over our goals for the year and deciding on volunteer dates. All are welcome!
Donation Drive - The Homestead Band is thrilled to partner with Sojourner Family Peace for a donation drive! Sojourner Family Peace is looking for charitable donations from their Amazon wishlist. Best Buddies - Attention all Best Buddies members, our Holiday Extravaganza is this Sunday, the 7th, from 12:00-1:30 PM! Scholarship - Attention juniors looking for scholarships: The Coolidge Scholarship is one of the most generous in America- it's a full-ride, four-year undergraduate scholarship that can be used at any university. Scholarship - Attention sophomore leaders! The Wisconsin Leadership Seminar is June 12-14 at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. Homestead will nominate one sophomore to attend the 3-day event. Students from around the State gather to develop their leadership skills and learn how to make positive changes in their communities.
