Ms. Gruber

My name is Ms. Gruber.  I love first grade & all the adventures we get to have! I can’t wait to learn all about you and your family.

I was born and grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and love the fact that I am close enough to visit there often. My parents, my younger brother & his family still live there. My sister lives in Howards Grove with her family. I have two little nieces and two nephews.  I spend a lot of my time with them.

I went to college at UW Milwaukee, UW Stevens Point/Australia, Lakeland College, and Cardinal Stritch. I have a masters degree in reading and language instruction, a double major in elementary education and art, and a minor in science . I earned National Board Teachers Certification in 2014. 

In my spare time, I like to walk the beach with my dog Wren. I love to travel & find new favorite places to visit.  Dogs are my favorite animal. In honor of my black lab Ripley, I love to help shelters any way I can.

I can’t wait to spend this year at Donges Bay learning and growing with you! We have new science activities, a room full of books for reading and cool supplies for math. You are going to love it.
