Google Apps

With your school Gmail account you have access to Google’s entire library of applications, including Docs, Sheets and Slides. In this section you will find tutorials to help you learn more about these tools.

Logging into Gmail

Go to gmail.com
Enter your school email address (username@mtroyal.ca) and click Next
Enter your MRU password and click Next

MRU requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to be activated for all email accounts. To learn how to turn this feature on visit the Cybersecurity Hub.

How-to Access Google Apps

Once you've logged into your Gmail account you can access the other Google apps by clicking the dot grid icon in the top right corner of the page. This will open a pop-up with icons of the other applications. Click on the one you want to use.

Browser Compatibility

For the best experience when using Google applications, use Google Chrome. Not all features are compatible with other browsers.
