GNED stands for General Education - these courses allow you to gain depth and stretch your breadth of knowledge. They are multi-disciplinary allowing you to develop an understanding from across different fields and may even help you find new areas of interest! These courses create the opportunity for a customized degree and a way to meet people outside of your program. These classes are organized into 4 clusters, with each having 3 tiers. You can see a list of the courses within each cluster here!
If you need any support determining which GNED courses to register for, please contact your academic advisor. You can find who your academic advisor is at this link. There are also Program Planning Guides that you can access to see how many GNED courses you are required to take for your specific program. Click here to view your Program Planning Guides.
