Machine Learning/AI Workshop

In Sep. 2019, I've been involved in organizing ML/AI workshop at Mount Royal University. This event had 3 keynote talks and 6 workshops with speakers from industry and academia. All workshop resources are available in the event homepage.

WestGrid Machine Learning Summer School

In May 2019, I taught machine learning workshops at WestGrid Summer Schools at the University of Calgary. Here are the resources for this workshop:

A Non-Specialist Guide to Machine Learning

In May 2019, I gave a talk in LibEd 2019 conference with the title of "The Decade of Machine Learning: A Non-Specialist Guide to Machine Learning". In this talk, I covered the advancement of the machine learning algorithm, from the classical algorithms, to the deep learning techniques and recently used generative models.

This talk was co-presented with Professor Randy Connolly.
