BOSTON, MA- Last night, Jeff Kinney, author of New York Times bestseller Diary of a Wimpy Kid, sued Rachel Renee Russel, author of Dork Diaries, announced on twitter as the following image:
Dork Diaries is not very popular with fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, as subreddits online such as r/lodeddiper have consistently called out the book series, calling it sometimes as a book written to ride off the popularity of Greg Heffley's problems in school. Heffley refused to comment, but he has before gone on rants about Nikki Maxwell, once engaging a twitter war.
