Leah Hammond

Biography:

I have been teaching art for the past 15 years, the last 3 years at MAUHS. I received my BS in Art Education from The University of Vermont in 2003 and am happy to be graduating from UVM’s Masters Degree Program in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Technology Integration in May of 2019. I served as the director of the Shelburne Art Center’s summer program for 4 years and continue to work as a photographer. I live in Vergennes with my husband and three children, and believe in the transformative power of art as an intellectual and creative source for positive growth and change.
