Welcome to my site! My name is Nicholas (Nick) Brown and I am the Peacock Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Economics at Queen's University.

I am broadly interested in applications of advanced econometric theory to applied microeconomic problems. Specifically, I am interested in consistent estimation and inference in the presence of unobserved and interactive fixed effects. My work has touched on both linear and strictly nonlinear estimators, including Poisson QMLE, common correlated effects regression, and treatment effect imputation.

I am excited to join the Economics Department at Florida State University in the Fall of 2024.
