Spartan Zaariya is Michigan State’s official competitive all girls fusion dance team! On this team, each member brings their shared passion and unique style to the stage at many competitions around the United States, including Dhamaal in Detroit, NASHA Texas, Naach Di Cleveland, and even local areas such as the Little Cesar’s arena. Zaariya is more than just a competitive dance team, but rather a family that enjoys the performing arts by putting in countless hours to learn the beauty and technique that is dance.

SIMRAN PATEL
My name is Simran Patel and I’m a sophomore in Lyman Briggs at MSU with a genetics and environmental science studies and sustainability major. I joined Zaariya because I have been dancing my whole life and love it but it really became the best part of my college experience. I can’t wait to see what this next year brings us!! So excited to meet the new Z GALS!
RACHNA PARIKH
My name is Rachna Parikh and I am a sophomore at Michigan State University a part of the Lyman Briggs residential college. At MSU, I am majoring Human biology and minoring in art. Since I was young, dance has been a huge part of my life and has made me who I am today. I joined zaariya freshman year because I wanted to be a part of something bigger with others, build new relationships practice for and compete in competitions doing what I love. I am beyond excited for zaariyas new chapter of all girls and cant wait to meet new Z GIRLS!!!

My name is Niveytha Nithiyananthan and I am sophomore at Michigan State University! I am a Human Bio major and I’m currently apart of the Lyman Briggs college. I first joined Zaariya because I love to dance and I wanted to join a team to meet new people. I’m really looking forward to this upcoming season and all the amazing talent that’s about to be witnessed! Can’t wait to see what our Z gals do this year !
GITIKA KUMAR
My name is Gitika Kumar, and I’m a sophomore majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Information Technology. I joined Zaariya because I love dancing and have always wanted to dance in the college circuit. I’m so excited for to be a part of this new chapter for Zaariya and am looking forward to an amazing year!
LAHARI VITHALA
My name is Lahari Vithala and I am currently in my second year of college! I am Business Preference, hoping to major in Marketing and minor in Spanish! I joined Zaariya because I have a passion for dance and through it I met my second family!! I’m beyond excited for the upcoming talent, it’s gonna be a fun and productive year for the Z GALS!
