Associate Professor Dr. M.A. Kadar MarikarM.D, PGDHHSA , MPHMSQH Technical Advisor effective 15 July 2020
Dr Kadar Marikar was the secretary to MSQH since 1998 to 2016. He was the CEO of Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH); the Malaysian Accreditation Organisation for Healthcare Facilities and Services since 2008 to 30 June 2020.
A physician by training with a post graduate degree in Hospital & Health Services Management (UK) and Masters in Public Health.
Serves the Ministry of Health Malaysia for 18 years in various levels from Clinicians, Medical Directors and Head of Quality Standards Unit in the Ministry. Involve directly in the development of standards, implementation and training of the Malaysian Healthcare Accreditation Programme for hospitals since 1995, Medical Clinics since 2012 and Chronic Dialysis Treatment since 2013 and Dental Services in 2016.
Dr Kadar was appointed as a TQM Consultant; serving the Military Health Services Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2001 to 2007. He was also appointed as Associate Professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine University Putra Malaysia since 2004.
He has successfully positioned MSQH as an organisation recognised and certified Internationally by ISQua and healthcare professionals and peers worldwide for all three Programmes namely, Certification for Organisation, Surveyors Training and Standards Development since 2008 to 2021.
He has initiated Malaysia to actively move towards developing the “Patient for Patients Safety Movement” in Malaysia with the technical support from WHO since 2013. He is also the WHO Technical Consultant in patient for patients safety initiatives.Dr Kadar has been instrumental in organizing MSQH National and International conferences since 2000. He is a speaker at various national and international conferences since 2000. He has also successfully helped MSQH to co-host the BMJ/IHI Conference 2017 and the 35th ISQua Conference 2018 in Kuala Lumpur.
Currently he is a member of the ISQua Accreditation Council since 1999, an ISQua expert and ISQua surveyor since 2004.Had surveyed the following accreditation organisations; Aged Care Australia, NABH India, HCAC Jordan, TAS New Zealand, CBAHI Saudi Arabia and Accreditation Body Kazakhstan.

Noramiza Bt Md NasirExecutive Manager Accreditation (Hospital), Training & Surveyor Management, MSQH
Ms Noramiza graduated in Biomedical Science from National University of Malaysia and Master in Business Administration (Healthcare Management) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She joined the Malaysian Society for Quality Health since 2007 and hold various position including Research and Development and current post as the Executive Manager Accreditation (Hospital), Training and Surveyor Management. She has been involved in hospital accreditation program and standard development and revision for MSQH as the secretariat. She managed the medical clinic and dialysis centre accreditation program. Ms Noramiza also authored and co-authored for few papers presented at ISQua conferences since 2012.
