As part of its anniversary celebration, Maple Shade Township is using this rare opportunity to recognize the very essence of what makes Maple Shade: its residents who are so special to the community!

HOW IT WORKS:

Guests must purchase tickets in advance to attend the Blue & Gold Pop-up Gala for the scheduled date and time; BUT will not be informed of the location.

Once your ticket is purchased, plan with your date/group to discuss your blue & gold attire and what items you’ll need (more on that in the Guidelines & Rules area!) which must all leave with you at the end of the night. Get creative!

At 5:30pm on the night of the event, ticket holders will be instructed by an assigned party lead to meet at a location in town by 6pm.


At exactly 6pm, party leads will escort their designated party to a top-secret spot to meet all of the other guests, and converge to enjoy a celebratory Pop-up Gala with music, fun & festivities!

GOLD TICKETS: $40/PAIR if purchased between May 14th - July 17th!

BLUE TICKETS: $50/PAIR if purchased between July 18th - August 2nd!

GUIDELINES & RULES:

  1. You will receive an envelope in the mail several weeks before the Gala. This envelope will contain top secret information about the event, so top secret, we can't even write about it here.

  1. As the Gala gets closer, (we're talking 3 days away), you will receive an introductory email/text message from your assigned party lead.


  1. Then, on Saturday, August 20th, at exactly 5:30pm, you will be notified by your party lead and given a location to meet them and your fellow Pop-Up attendees. You must meet at this location by 6pm, bringing with you everything you need for your special evening!


  1. At precisely 6pm, party leads will then escort Gala guests to the secret Gala location.


  1. You will then arrive to the Blue & Gold Pop-Up Gala, where you will experience an enchanting evening with entertainment, fun, surprises, and of course: all of the secrecy revealed!

Q: What's a gala?

A: By Dictionary: a gala is a social occasion with special entertainments or performances. By us: it's a celebration under the stars on August 20th with friends, neighbors, and loved ones.. leaving no trace behind of our event afterwards. Don't worry, we've got the special and entertainments covered; and oh so much more!

Q: What time do I need to be ready?

A: You must be packed and ready to go by 5:30pm!

Q: What should I wear?

A: Nice Town, Class People (for one night only)

Don't be afraid to put the "aaahh" in faaaanncy!

Dress Code could be described as dressy casual; a versatile balance between formal and casual.

We are celebrating 100 years, 1922 - 2022. Bonus points if you pick a decade and dress accordingly!

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Everything you'll need for your night!

  • A table, chairs, food, drinks (wine & beer only: no liquor), flatware, bug spray, napkins, wipes, trashbag, your dancing shoes, etc.

Q: Why do I have to bring and take everything with me?

A: That's all part of the Pop-Up Gala experience! The location is top secret, and this event is for ticket holders only. We want to leave no trace of our amazing night evidence behind!

Q: If I'm bringing and taking everything with me, then what am I'm actually paying for?

A: Your ticket is paying for the experience and entertainment! Rumor has it, Swag Bags will be given out and "will not be a let down!" - Oscar Attendee

Q: Am I sitting with the people that are at my Party Lead meet-up location spot?

A: Nope! The only assigned seats are the ones that you bring, and you can set them up wherever you'd

like once you get to the Gala!

your meet-up location spot with your Party Lead. (Most spots will be shuttled.)

Q: Does the Gala take place indoors or outdoors?

A: This Gala will be taking place outdoors.
