Have you heard of the iPhone 8/8+? You might have, since most people are talking about it. But, what’s so different from other iPhones? The iPhone 8 recently came out in early September. Many people are saying the new iPhone is just like your average iPhone 7/7+, right? That is not true, as it includes many features that no other iPhone contains.
To start off, one of the many features is on the back of the iPhone. It has a certain glass back that allows it to have wireless charging! The only downside to this is that the actual wireless plate has a wire to plug into an outlet. Another change is in regard to the bottom of the back, where other iPhones contain the make and model information and certification symbols for safety. Say goodbye to that writing, the iPhone 8 only has the model name, giving it a sleeker look.
One drawback is the iPhone 8’s camera; it has a dual camera, but doesn’t have telephoto or portrait bokeh effects. The telephoto feature defocuses an image's background, changing the perspective of the picture. The bokeh effect allows you to focus on the main part of your picture by blurring out the background. This effect is usually used on light in the background. The iPhone 8+ only has the dual feature, but that doesn’t mean you should rule out the iPhone 8, it’s still has a great photo capabilities. Both cameras include sharper detail and auto focus to take better photos and videos.
Moving forward, inside the phone, it holds the best chip that any smartphone has, which almost doubles the multi-tasking speeds. Additionally, there is a new upgrade, the iOS 11, which gives many new and approved features. These features include a totally different, but better, control center, a revamped siri, and a built-in document scanner. One of the fun features is augmented reality apps that Apple has created to allow you to see truly realistic virtual objects. The iPhone 8 also has better battery life and a much larger screen.
Overall, the iPhone 8 and 8+ are very different based on their new features. Who’s interested in getting the iPhone 8 or 8 plus now?
