Lyndsie Lappe

Hi! I’m Miss Lappe, and I’m excited to be teaching 8th Grade Math and Algebra at Mascoutah Middle School!

I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2017 with my bachelor’s degree and from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2022 with my master’s degree. I also hold my Illinois Principal Licensure.

My teaching career began in Tennessee, where I taught 7th grade for one year. I then returned to Illinois and spent five years teaching 3rd Grade Math in Carlyle before coming to Mascoutah. During my time at MMS, I’ve taught 7th Grade Math, 8th Grade Math, and Math RTI.

Outside of school, I enjoy running, strength training, reading, and spending time with my two dogs. Fitness is a big part of my life, and I’m also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and ISSA Certified Nutrition Coach. When I’m not at school or the gym, you can usually find me with a good book, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying some much-needed downtime!
