Katie Childs

I’m a proud military spouse, mom of three, and a 2nd grade teacher who absolutely loves what I do! I have a bachelors degree in elementary education and a masters degree in learning experience design and educational technology. At 38, we’re currently at our 5th duty station, and I’m always dreaming about the possibility of being stationed in Europe someday. 📚✈️

Reading has always been my favorite subject, and I love sharing that passion with my 2nd graders. When I’m not teaching or keeping up with my busy family, you’ll usually find me with Louie, our Great Dane, or Ruby, our long-haired cat. 🐾❤️

Life as a military family keeps us on our toes, but I’m grateful for every chapter of our journey and am so excited to teach 2nd graders within our military community.
