A little about me!
My name is Jamie Corbier. I am a 2011 December summa cum laude graduate of McKendree University. Immediately after graduation, I was hired as a full-time Social Studies teacher at Red Bud High School in January 2012, and I was hired as a full-time Social Studies teacher at Mascoutah High School in July 2018. I have also been a coach for my entire teaching career; I am currently the Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at Belleville East High School!
From my years in the classroom, I have learned how to effectively plan lessons, be flexible when lessons do not go as planned, manage a classroom, address a wide range of learners, collaborate with my colleagues, and develop my teaching and leadership skills; but most importantly, I learned how to be a dedicated teacher to my students.
I love being a teacher! And, I LOVE MY TRIBE!
