Today, in the library, we:

1. Learned how to find and use eBooks and audiobooks.

2. Continued to explore the Digital Maine Library. We learned some of the best and fastest ways to find, save and cite information found in the DML.

Using a database in the Digital Maine Library
Steps to follow

Step one: Get to the Digital Maine Library - library.digitalmaine.org

Step two: Find the “Popular Magazines” database

Step three: Type a term/concept in the basic search

Step four: Use the limiters on the right to make adjustments to your search / Full-text, Date Range, Subject, Document Type, etc.

Step five: Select and read an article

Step six: Highlight and take notes while reading the article

Step seven: Save the article (and highlights & notes) to your Google Docs

Step eight: Check your Google Drive to confirm that the information is there.
