Nearpod 101: What is Nearpod?

New to Nearpod? Nearpod is a versatile learning tool that works on any platform, any device, and any learning environment, in-person or at a distance. It complements your use of Seesaw or Google Classroom, gives you a live look into what students are doing, and is packed with over 20 types of learning activities as well as tools that will support all of your learners. Nearpod also has an extensive library of pre-made activities that you can send to your students in a flash, or you can create activities that use a combination of self-made and third-party content. It's one of the best edtech tools for teaching and learning out there, and best of all, almost all of the best features are free for teachers!

In Nearpod 101, I introduce you to the basics of Nearpod, including creating your account, viewing lessons from both the teacher and the student sides, sampling some of the many activities you can use with students, and tracking student progress through live look-ins and post-session reports.
