Science

Our grade six science curriculum focuses primarily on the study of cells, tissues, and organ systems of the human body. We will use microscopes and perform labs as we learn together. At the end of the year we will work through a physics unit during which students will work in teams to design and build their own bridges. Our day-long tour of area bridges allows students to see and sketch different bridge types and design elements. Our culminating event will test the strength of our students' toothpick bridges!
