EdAdvance provides free classes for adults 18+ in English as a Second Language, U.S. Citizenship, Adult Basic Education (literacy and numeracy), and three pathways to earn a high school diploma. We provide opportunities for career training and transition to post-secondary education for our adult learners.
There may be some opportunities for supervised tutoring under the direction of a certified teacher or representing the program at community events and fairs.
Volunteering may include:
Interacting with people (EX: helping at fairs, managing/working with children and/or adults, etc.)
Specific requests (EX: building a website, helping at a specific event, etc.)
