American History Course Description:
The study of American History (European colonization through the Gilded Age) and to include within appropriate context (not as separate units): Nebraska and Local History and Native Americans.
Course Outcomes:
-Students will possess and demonstrate a chronological perspective of American history from colonization to the Gilded Age in the late 19th century.
-The students will identify the key political, economic, military, cultural and geographical forces in American History from American colonization to the Gilded Age in the late 19th century.
