From the Principal & Rohwer Staff
We are so excited for conferences to be here. It's an opportunity for us to share all the wonderful things that make your child amazing. We will also be sharing results from our Winter MAP assessment administered in December for all students. If you haven't had a chance to schedule your conference time, please call the office. Don't forget to stop by our Selfie Booth to enter the MPS Instagram Contest. More information about the contest is included below.
We hope all families are enjoying reading our One School One Book - A Nest for Celeste. Don't forget, students can turn in the optional weekly questions and be entered into a drawing to win a Kindle. Make sure to mark your calendar for our One School One Book Night Event on Thursday, March 1st.
Thank you to Horace Mann, one of our PayBac Partners. We keep all the star tickets students earned 1st semester following expectations . . . . and these two amazing Rohwer students had their names drawn on Wednesday, January 31 at an all school assembly. Horace Mann provided a bike for the K-2 winner and a Kindle for the 3-5 winner. Keep working on being recognized with star tickets, and maybe your name will get drawn for a great prize at the end of the year! Way to go Rohwer students!!
Spotlight on our Artist in Residence
For 2nd semester, all students have been working with our Artist in Residence, Kristen Pluhacek, to create a school-wide art project. It's been very exciting to watch this project come together and we can't wait for you to see our final product. We are able to fund our Artist in Residence through a donation from the Nebraska Arts Council and your generous donations to Rohwer's PTO.
