From the Principal...
Thank you to the wonderful PTO and Rohwer families for providing our conference dinner on Monday. The food was delicious!
The Nebraska education system has placed an emphasis on attendance through its accountability measures. Attendance Matters: Help your child be successful in school by building a habit of good attendance early! It's more than making up missed work. Overall success in school goes hand in hand with good attendance. Regular attendance helps students feel good about themselves and good about school. Instill the value that going to school, everyday, on time, is important!

Staff Appreciation Week, March 4th - 8th
As we prepare to spoil our Rohwer staff we are in need of some donations. Below is a link for a sign up list of different items that we are in need of. If the link doesn't work great for you, you can contact Sarah Kirkpatrick through email at firstname.lastname@example.org (please put SAW week in subject line to avoid being sent to SPAM). Your Rohwer PTO appreciates all your help in making this a fun week for the wonderful staff that educate and take care of our children!

Rohwer Fun Run
Rohwer has an amazing school wide opportunity coming up - we are participating in our first ever, Boosterthon Fun Run!! The Fun Run is a 9-day program and will be our PTO's biggest fundraiser, taking place on April 26, 2019. Families will get pledges for the laps their student runs at the Fun Run. Many Millard elementary schools host a Fun Run, and it is a fun and easy way to make a lot of money for our school.
We will be sending more information home as the Fun Run draws nearer, but for now we are working on sponsorships. Each student will receive a t-shirt and we are looking for business sponsors. $500.00 includes your logo on the t-shirt and in the 2019-20 Rohwer Rocket Directory; $250.00 includes your logo on the t-shirt only. Space is limited to 15 sponsors, if your business is interested in being a sponsor please immediately contact Josiah and Krissie Cherry, Fun Run Committee Chairpersons, at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you'd like to join the committee or participate the day of the run, please contact Josiah or Krissie at the addresses above.
We are collecting yarn for a school-wide art project. If you're anything like the rest of us, you probably have some lying around your house that you've been saving for.....well, for this! We are looking for any color/texture as long as it is at least 6' in length. If you've got yarn you'd like to donate, please send it to the school office, then sit back, relax, and wait for the next Rohwer masterpiece! If you have questions, please contact PTO art committee chair, Jane Buresh, email@example.com
