December 21, 2018
Thank you to Becky Bezousek, Rohwer PTO, and all of our wonderful families that provided treats for our Cookie Exchange. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and greatly appreciate everyone for making us feel special. We hope all of you have a wonderful Winter Break with your children. We look forward to seeing everyone back on January 7, 2019 to start a great 2nd semester of school!
Parking Lot Reminders,
We have 4 ADA handicapped parking stalls in the Rohwer parking lot. It is important that we keep these spaces available for families with a disabled parking permit. Please avoid using these parking spots (unless you have a disabled parking permit) or blocking these parking spots during morning drop off and afternoon pick up. We want to make sure we are being considerate of families that are needing these spaces. If you are in a rush in the morning, please remember that you can also drop off students at Dickinson's Landing and 178th Street. We want to #BEKIND to the cars that are waiting patiently in line to enter the Rohwer parking lot and not go around them and/or cut in front of them. This helps us to be safe and avoid car accidents and injury to people.

Dear Rohwer Parents,
We know it's cliche, but this first half of the school year has flown by! We've got a lot of great things lined up for the second half, and want to thank you all in advance for your support and participation. January will kick-off One School, One Book and our first ever Urban Air/Brewsky's night! Watch future newsletters and our Facebook page for further information!
We'd like to send a HUGE Thank You to Becky Bezousek and all of our parent bakers! The teacher and staff cookie exchange was absolutely phenomenal! They were all blown away by the goodies and a few mentioned it was their favorite event of the year! Thank you, also, to those who helped set-up and clean-up. The event was a SUCCESS. Check out our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/RohwerPTO for more photos and a video of the event.
Keep saving those Hy-Vee receipts through 12/31. Send them back to school with your little one after break and Rohwer will get a portion of all sales donated back to the school. You can't go to Hy-Vee without running into a Rohwer friend, we're hoping for a big return on our purchases!
We wish you the happiest of holidays and the best possible start to 2019! We look forward to working with you all the second half of the school year!
