Thank you all for such a great start to the school year. Our students have been learning routines and procedures as well as developing relationships with their peers. We are continuing to teach lunchroom expectations to students. We ask parents to please wait until after Labor Day to have lunch with your child at Rohwer.
If students with a cold lunch need to purchase a milk, please deposit money in their lunch account or send them with milk money for that day. If they do not have funds available in their account, we will provide them with water to drink.
A Rocket Roster (our school directory) form is in this Friday Folder. Please complete this and return to school on Monday. The sooner we get everyone's forms, the sooner we can complete the directory and send it out.
Curriculum night for Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will be on Thursday, August 30th. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will hold a face-to-face meeting from 5:30 – 6:00 pm and Kindergarten & 1st grades will meet from 6:00 – 6:30 pm.
2nd Grade will have a “flipped” curriculum night. Teachers will be sending a video presentation home to families with all of their curriculum information. This will allow families to watch the video when it fits in their schedule.
Your child’s teacher will share more specific information regarding Curriculum Night with you.
We will be celebrating #BeKind Day on Friday, August 24th. Thank you to all of the families that donated pies for our celebration!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Nicole Burton - Principal
