From the Principal & Rohwer Staff

It's official! The last day of school this year will be on Thursday, May 31st. Elementary students will be dismissed at noon. The Rohwer Field Day and Rohwer Picnic will be on Friday, May 18th. More information about these two amazing events is included in the flyers below. Just another reminder that current Kindergarten students will not have school on Friday, May 4th. We will be hosting Kindergarten Round-up on this day for our incoming Kindergarten students.

***We are in need of gently used girls clothing for our health room. As you are spring cleaning this year, we hope you will consider donating items to us.

PTO Post-it

Thank you to Ms. Dawson for Admin Professionals Day from your PTO friends!

The PTO would like to give a huge round of applause to all the families that came out to support our talented students at the Variety Show last night! What an incredible night of performances! We would also like to thank Mrs. Carson for her talents, guidance, and dedication to make the Variety Show such a huge success!

Only One You Art Project

Thank you to all the amazing PTO volunteers for helping the students paint their "rockfish" last week! They turned out amazing and we can't wait to create a rock garden at school to showcase everyone's unique and creative designs! The PTO also created a fun Only One You bulletin board to showcase all of the student's paper fish they designed for the painting project! Check out the PTO Facebook page, Rohwer Elementary PTO, to see more photos from this fun activity!

Next PTO Meeting - TIME FLIES! Come join us for the LAST PTO MEETING of the year! We’ll be celebrating the successes of this year and making plans for next year. May 8th, 6:30 in the Rohwer Media Center. Please join us, even if you’ve never been to a meeting before – we would love to have your input! We’ll be going over the 2018-19 calendar and have a number of volunteer positions to fill. Parent involvement is the reason our PTO can do so much and we love to see new faces at the meetings!

As the school year winds down, did you know that you can still support the Rohwer PTO throughout the summer without spending any additional money? When you shop online at Amazon, simply visit http://smile.amazon.com and indicate “Rohwer Elementary Parent Teacher Organization” as your charity of choice and a portion of your purchase will come back to Rohwer!
