From the Principal...

Kindergarten families, please mark your calendar for Friday, May 3rd. Our current Kindergarten students will not have school on this day. We will be inviting our incoming Kindergarten students to attend Kindergarten Round-up. If you know of any families in the neighborhood that have school-age children, check with them to make sure they have registered their child. Also on Friday, May 3rd, our current 5th grade students will be visiting the middle schools on this day to have a "sneak peek" of where they will be attending school next year.

Last Friday, we sent home Field Day Shirt orders forms in Friday Folders. Please look at the flyer included below to purchase (flyers will be sent home in Friday folders again today). Shirts are only $10. All orders are due April 17th.

It's official! The last day of school this year will be on Friday, May 31st. Elementary students will be dismissed at noon.

PTO Post It

Dear Parents,

This spring we will be participating in Rohwer's Inaugural FUN RUN! This event kicks off with a "Pep Rally" during school on April 17th. The students then have nine days to gather pledges from their neighbors, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc! The best part about this program is that regardless of funds raised, EVERY STUDENT participates and receives prizes! The second best part (or, maybe this is your favorite part!) all pledges and donations are done ONLINE! You do not have to worry about collecting money from anyone! Full details and instructions on how to gather pledges will come home with your student(s) on April 17, 2019.

There will be daily challenges - please follow Rohwer Elementary PTO on Facebook and check the Rohwer website for daily challenge details. Students will be rewarded for participating, raising funds, reaching classroom goals, and reaching all-school goals. You will receive emails throughout the 8 days to explain the fundraiser and provide updates.

On April 26th, the students will participate in the Fun Run. Families are invited to come cheer on your student(s). The event schedule is included below, as well as an alternative schedule in case weather requires us to move inside. We are looking for volunteers the day of the event as well. You can sign up here at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4baaaa29aa8-rohwer

We are looking forward to this amazing event and hope you are as excited about it as we are!

Sincerely,

Rohwer PTO
