Thank you so much for your support of The Fun Run. The students learned today of a couple of extra incentives for helping our school reach its fundraising goal. We are $6000 away from having an all school ice cream party. If we meet our $35,000 goal teachers will take a "cow pie" to the face at an all school assembly. Additionally students are earning individual and class prizes for the pledges they receive. Help us keep our momentum building next week as we lead up to the actual run on Friday the 13th.
Also mark your calendars for Movie Night on September 20th. It's a free event and the kids love bringing blankets and/or wearing PJs to watch a movie on the giant screen in the gym. We'll be watching Detective Pikachu at 6:30 and snacks will be available to purchase.

Andrea Kidd is one of our new kindergarten teachers. Although this is her first year teaching at Reagan, this is her 19th year teaching in Millard Public Schools. Previously, she taught kindergarten and preschool in both general and special education. She has also taught in an early childhood program focusing on young children and families. She is thrilled to be back in the kindergarten classroom, especially at Reagan, where she has been a parent for several years. She is married to Jason and they have 2 children, Sam (7th grader at Beadle) and her daughter Caitlyn (5th grader here at Reagan). In her spare time, you’ll find Mrs. Kidd at the ballfield watching her children play baseball and softball, reading a book, scrapbooking or taking her dog ,Gillie, for a walk around the neighborhood.

Kaysie Zeches is another new Kindergarten teacher and is in her 3rd year of teaching. Her mom is a teacher, and she never dreamed of doing anything else. Teaching is her passion, and she loves building close relationships with each and every student. This past summer, she moved here from Charlotte, North Carolina. She loves to travel. Growing up in a military family where she moved a lot has made her appreciate the chance to experience somewhere new. Another one of her favorite things to do is bake. She loves making her own recipes for cookies and muffins! She also loves trying fun, new places to eat. She also loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She loves dogs, reading, and all things Christmas.

In order to get the most out of the one hour time slots, there is a need for 2 volunteers per classroom time slot. Helping out is generally as simple as passing out materials and assisting with clean-up!!
Volunteers should arrive a few minutes early to assist with set up! Check in with the office and then head to your child's classroom!
