From the Principal...
Report cards are being sent home in Friday Folders today. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns. Our goal is to work together in the best interests of the child! We want to be sure to finish the school year on a positive note.
Sonic Night is coming up this Tuesday Night. Join us at the Sonic at 18605 W. Center Rd for dinner or even just an ice cream cone. There is a flyer in Friday Folders that you’ll give to your server so we can track which class has the highest attendance. The winning class will receive a slushy party! We also have Scooter’s Day coming up on Sunday, April 8th. We never want to overwhelm you with too many of these events; we just want you to have options!

Please join us for the last Little Eagles Story Time of the year April 24…any Pre-K or younger child welcome. You will join Miss Keech in the library for 30 minutes of reading and activities at 10:00.

Reagan earned $135.06 from our Buffalo Wild Wings night. Thank you to all those who came out to support our school.
The Reagan staff will soon begin the process of designing class lists for the 2018-2019 school year. I get a significant amount of teacher requests from parents each year in the spring so I thought it would be helpful to share some insights into how class lists are created. Our main goal is to provide positive experiences for all students! We strive to create balanced classrooms with regards to personalities, abilities, needs, learning styles, peer relations, and gender balance. Staff work to place students in a learning environment that would best meet their individual needs. Each child is considered individually by members of the following teams: Teachers who currently work within the grade-level, HAL, Special Education, Speech Language Pathologists, Administration, Interventionists, and the School Counselor.
We recognize that you value your child's education and can offer valuable insight about them. If you would like to have input into your child’s placement for next year, please schedule an appointment with me. During this meeting, I will ask for you to share input about your child’s learning style, strengths, and areas of needed improvement. This input will be considered when Reagan teams make placement decisions. To make an appointment please email me at email@example.com or call 402-715-7100 prior to April 13. Input will not be considered in the process after April 13 as we begin making placement decisions at that time.

Planning for next year
Each spring we begin planning for the following year. It is helpful to know how many children to expect at each grade level. We would appreciate your help in making our projections for next year as accurate as possible. We always have a few families who will be moving. If you know that your child(ren), who currently attend Reagan, will be attending another school next fall, either in Millard, or one of the area school districts or out of town, would you please call the Reagan office 402-715-7100 and let us know. Also if you know of a family that has a new incoming Kindergartener please have them contact our office. Thanks for helping us with our planning!
