From the Principal...

Dear Families,

We’ve had a wonderful first week back at school. Much of our time has been focused on teaching and practicing procedures while creating positive classroom communities. It has been fun to watch new groups of students interact with one another in their classrooms and in common areas. We’re all working hard on settling into our new routines!

Friday, August 24th is #BeKind Day which is going to be recognized in school districts and community organizations across the state. Students will engage in kindness activities throughout the day and we’ll wrap up the day with a culminating assembly. I am quite excited to see kindness shining through at Reagan.

Has your child mentioned Talon Tokens yet? These tokens are replacing our former “soaring eagles” as positive recognition for students. The Eagle’s Nest, a school store, will debut next week and students will have the opportunity to purchase items with their tokens or save them up for bigger prizes. Ask your child what they did this week to earn a Talon Token.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Tara Fabian
