Who: Technology Initiator, Classroom Teacher, and another Staff helper should be used per classroom to deploy the student iPads.
How long to schedule: Plan 45 to 60 minutes per class
Warning: Make sure student iPads are deployed to students BEFORE August Map testing. Staff won't be able to control student iPads via Apple Classroom and Jamf School Teacher until students and staff are logged into their Managed Apple IDs.
When can students take the iPads home: The take home option is not allowed for grades K through 2 unless part of the student's IEP.
What forms are needed: COPPA only
When: Managed Apple ID setup should occur from August 10th through August 27th

How long to schedule: Plan 20 minutes per class for Apple ID login.

When can students take the iPads home: As soon as the student's parent has completed the MPS Loan Agreement and the school deems it is appropriate.
What forms are needed: COPPA and MPS Loan Agreement. MPS Cooperative Loss is optional.
K, 1, & 2 - Teachers should plan to use the student iPads the day after the iPads are set up. This allows time for apps and settings to install.
Classroom teachers should verify their classroom door keys open the iPad carts/vaults. If not, work with your building secretary.
Plan to use Google Slideshow to display the deployment and Managed Apple ID slides.
Verify the iPad cart/vaults are plugged in and powered on.
